A session of the temporary commission investigating the activities of the previous government is underway in the Parliament. Today, one of the cases of pressure and torture on business involving businessman Besik Khardziani is being discussed.

Khardziani’s son has already been heard at the session, and Khardziani’s and Udesiani’s lawyers have also been invited to the meeting.

According to the commission members, the facts of Khardziani’s arrest in 2011, his torture and inhuman treatment in a penitentiary institution, which resulted in damage to his health, terrorization of his family, and the seizure of his business, will be discussed.
