In Gldani District, on Libani Street, near Residential Building No. 6 and Public School No. 119, large-scale slope stabilization works in a landslide-prone area have been completed.
The primary objective of the project was to prevent landslide processes and create a safe environment for the local population. A detailed assessment of the geological condition of the area identified risks related to soil stability, necessitating urgent preventive measures.
As part of the works, the slope was terraced and a 40-metre-long piled wall was constructed to ensure soil stability and minimise the risk of slope failure.
A drainage network was also installed to ensure the effective management of surface water and groundwater.
