Inspectors from the Shida Kartli Department, within the framework of state control, inspected a poultry slaughterhouse owned by individual entrepreneur T. Ch. [address: Karaleti village, Gori district].

As a result of the inspection, critical non-compliances were uncovered at the facility. Furthermore, it was established that the business operator was operating without the mandatory recognition and registration in the Registry of Economic Activities. Due to the uncovered violations, the entrepreneur was fined, and the production process was suspended.

The National Food Agency continues to detect illegal enterprises and slaughterhouses nationwide. The agency urges business operators to carry out their activities in full compliance with legislative requirements and not to produce food without appropriate recognition and registration.
