Zviad Gabisonia appointed Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth

Professor and PhD in Law Zviad Gabisonia has been appointed Deputy Minister of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs.

Minister Givi Mikanadze formally introduced him to the Ministry staff and extended his best wishes for success in his new role.

Zviad Gabisonia brings extensive experience to his position, having served as the General Director of the Shota Rustaveli National Scientific Foundation. He has also worked as a Legal Technologies Expert at the Anti-Corruption Bureau and held the position of Advisor on Legal Issues related to Artificial Intelligence, Digital Education, and Technology at the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs.

The Deputy Minister is the author of 7 books and 50 scientific publications - in the fields of international private law, technology law, Internet law and artificial intelligence, digital governance and legal technologies.
