Starting from November 1, new 18-meter buses will operate on Route No. 306. Until now, eight 12-meter buses have operated on this route. Such a statement made today the mayor of Tbilisi.

"Under the renewed route, 20 new 18-meter buses will serve passengers, significantly increasing capacity and allowing the transportation of many more passengers, while also reducing waiting times.

According to the new scheme, the line will extend from Nikoloz Baratashvili Street to Ketevan Dedofali Avenue, and will then connect to Beri Gabriel Salosi Avenue and Emir Burjanadze Street. On the opposite end, the route will extend from Akaki Beliashvili Street to Didi Dighomi. Consequently, Route No. 306 buses will travel via King Parnavaz Avenue and Demetre Tavdadebuli Street.

In addition, a new transport hub has been arranged at the intersection of Beliashvili Street and Robakidze Avenue. Consequently, starting November 1, buses on Route No. 306 will use this traffic-lights-regulated hub to turn left and proceed toward the Didube Metro Station", - said Kakha Kaladze
