Prime Minister of Georgia met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan. Irakli Kobakhidze thanked Kohir Rasulzoda for hosting the Georgian delegation at the highest level.

"This is a historic moment. The first official visit at the highest level from Georgia is being made to Tajikistan. Our nations, our countries are closely connected with each other by historical traditions, friendship, and it is our responsibility to do our utmost to strengthen our partnership and cooperation.

We reaffirm our commitment to this goal. I would like to thank Tajikistan for its strong support and protection of Georgia`s national interests. Thank you for respecting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, which is of particular importance to Georgia", - added Irakli Kobakhidze.
