CEC determined sequence numbers for electoral subjects registered for the October 3 By-elections

The Central Election Commission of Georgia (CEC) has determined the sequence numbers for the electoral subjects registered for the October 3, 2026 by-elections of the representative bodies of municipalities (Sakrebulos). The CEC adopted the respective ordinance at its meeting held today.

The electoral subjects registered for the October 3 by-elections were assigned the following numbers:

N. 9 “Strong Georgia-Lelo”;
N 41 “Georgian Dream”.

The above-mentioned electoral subjects have right to nominate candidates no later than 30 days before the Election Day (September 3). They must submit their majoritarian candidates to the respective District Election Commissions.

The by-elections of Sakrebulos will be held on October 3 in the municipalities of Vani, Tsalka, Dmanisi, and Akhmeta. A total of seven polling stations will be opened for the by-elections. Electronic voter verification and vote-counting machines will be used at four of these polling stations. Voters will elect four majoritarian members of the Sakrebulos of the respective municipalities.
