An updated lawsuit is in the Constitutional Court – Gakharia`s party has been added to the lawsuit regarding the banning of political parties

The updated lawsuit regarding the banning of political parties has already been submitted to the Constitutional Court. Declaring the party "Gakharia for Georgia" unconstitutional has been added to the ruling team`s lawsuit.

"Georgian Dream" cites the party`s destructive actions, insults to state institutions, and collusion with foreign lobbyists to damage national interests as the reasons behind this decision.

Following the submission of the lawsuit, the Constitutional Court will have to deliberate within the established legal timeframe regarding the legality of the "United National Movement”, "Ahali", "Lelo", "Federalists", and "For Georgia".
